"Totem of the White Crane, Queen of the Highlands of the North."
Soooo the lineart is sketchy because I was anxious to finish this, but overall I'm okay with it. (I admit I did struggle with the color scheme~)
As stated in the title her name is Jaiya, and she's a part of the Heathen Gods universe. I tried to gather some inspiration from Hindu gods and since multiple limbs seems to be an iconic aspect of them I wanted to pay homage to it by giving Jaiya two sets of wings. She's technically an updated version of Sui Feng, but I changed her ethnicity because Sui Feng was too ethnically similar to my updated version of Vetalga, who is also heavily coded as East Asian. So, I thought a South Asian-coded goddess would balance things out a bit more, since I want the four primordial gods (Earth, Water, Wind, Fire) to echo four individual cultures. So, just for the record and from eldest to youngest:
Dyreth: African (Sub-Saharan)
Namka: Native North American
Jaiya: South Asian (mostly Desi)
Vetalga: East Asian
Coming up with the rest of the pantheon is gonna be a feat, but it's fun! Glad to finally have a South Asian character in my gallery. I have a feeling a few aspects of her character are definitely going to change as I develop the story further, though.

I think she looks unique. Whenever people say Asians they are referring to East Asians from Japan, China, North Korea, South Korea, and Mongolia. But Asia is a continent and the people are diverse from race, skin color, ethnicity, and cultures. . Asians can range from the Negritoes/black people of Southeast Asia to Caucasians/white people of Russia.
